Polarizing microscope

Small petrological microscope model "Va" (lacquered brass with black enamel finish on the tube and black high iron base). This model "V or Va" has a very large focused field. Focusing is achieved through a rack and pinion mechanism. The microscope came equipped with one original eyepiece and one objective numbered 0. Round rotating stage with 360-degree scale and vernier scale. The analyser (Nicol prism) is mounted on a sliding shoe in the lower part of the tube, the polarizer is located beneath the stage. There is no focusable Bertrand lens provided. Height 38.5 cm. In original wooden case with working lock and key
