Wollaston type goniometer (brass and blackened brass) with mirror attachment, engraved silvered scale and vernier read-out with twin adjusting wheels and fine adjustment. Diameter circle 15 cm, height: 23 cm.
Signed on the mirror attachment "Mon Jules Duboscq | Ph. Pellin | Paris", between 1883-1886. The base also carries the engraving "AF 488".
Jules Duboscq (1817-1886) merged with Philippe Pellin in 1883, who continued the firm alone after 1886.
